HOW TO RESPOND TO A PROMPT.

During a consultation, you may enter answers to the questions by selecting from the list presented.  Select the answer that seems to best answer the question.

At any time during a consultation, you can select QUIT or REVIEW from the options menu.  DO NOT use your browser's BACK button unless instructed to do so as this may interfere with the REVIEW record keeping.  To terminate the session, click on the QUIT option.  To change a response to a past question, click on the REVIEW option.  SDHW-PROB will automatically go through the consultation up to the last question you answered.  You may change the answer to any question up to that point and continue the consultation.

Some questions have HELP available in the form of either TEXT or GRAPHICS, or both.

And finally, a personal note.  This program will most likely not be of much value to an experienced solar technician.  It would drive me nuts to use it if I were troubleshooting a system.  However, I do feel it might help a homeowner or other person, inexperienced in troubleshooting a SDHW system, and just might lead to a successful diagnosis.  For the experienced solar technician, it might bring up some ideas that he/she my not have thought of.
