I've set up a deal with a national distributor of heating equipment and supplies to sell Tekmar® and Heliodyne® solar heating controllers. The controllers will be shipped to my customers directly from the distributor's Denver warehouse, or in some cases, directly from the manufacturer. Tekmar® T155 solar controller - This is a programmable controller that provides the turn on and turn off differential functions for a heat collection pump via a set of dry relay contacts. A second set of dry relay contacts can be used for drain down valve switching when the controller is programmed for a drain down system or to switch power to a booster pump when used with a drain back system. Tekmar® T156 solar controller - This is a basic single output, programmable controller that provides the turn on and turn off differential functions for a heat collection pump via a set of dry relay contacts. This controller is ideal for use with closed loop antifreeze heat collection systems, but can also be used with a drain back system. Tekmar®T 157 solar controller - This is a programmable controller that provides for a variable (proportional) speed control for a heat collection pump via a solid state (triac) output device. This controller is ideal for use with closed loop antifreeze heat collection systems. A second output that will close a set of dry relay contacts can be used for one of four additional operating modes, e.g., a booster pump, if used with a drain back system. Tekmar® T071 & T078 universal sensors - both of these 10 K ohm sensors are enclosed in a 3/8" OD X 3/4" long brass sleeve. Tekmar® 10K Temperature Simulator 002 - this unit can be used to check the operation of a Tekmar® 10K control. All of the above Tekmar® solar controllers require a source of 24 VAC ±10%, 2 VA, or 30 VDC ±20% to power up the internal electronics. 120 VAC is then switched, via a 120 VAC, 10 A, 1/3 hp relay, to the external loads, i.e., pumps and valves.
Heliodyne® Delta-T DTT-84 solar controller - This is a basic single 120 VAC input/output limited programmable controller, that provides the turn on and turn off differential functions for a heat collection pump via a set of relay contacts. This controller is ideal for use with either closed loop antifreeze or drain back heat collection systems. The controller uses two 10 K ohm sensors, which need to be purchased separately (see below).
